Trust your gut ... Even when it comes to Cold Turkey!

Yet another beaut of a day in the Town of Cape.  Or so we thought!

The new happening place to be at on a Sunday night is a party going down in the centre of town, just off Harrington Street, called Cold Turkey. Now don't be mistaken!  Its not your usual crowd of Caprice posers or Tiger Tiger jocks, so please don't get lost if you're currently en-route there.  PLEASE!  This joint is home to some of the most diverse groups of people in Cape Town.  Creatives, intellectuals, tourists, rastas, peeps sporting fro's, peeps sporting mo's, fantapants' - just to name a FEW!  Everyone brings their own bit of spice to the melting pot that has now become.

After stroking their ego for a few lines, it's back to the story at hand...about what a crap night we indeed had!  Cape Town's notorious wind decided to grace us with her presence, with not an inch of a warning at all, all day.  Being the chilled people that we are (or so I've heard), we endured the nuisance for a lengthly period, until such time that chairs started abusing us, and alcohol bottles developed minds of their own!  Chairs aside, what a waste of drunk-inducing substances!  That was THAT! And we were out of there.
